Further informations about the festival[]
The acrobatic convention takes place in the bay of “Instruga” on the island “Korcula”. We expect about 100-200 circusfans – kids, teens and adults. We have invited international and professional artists who will hold the daily workshops in all kind of level at the festival. The focus lies on acrobatics, but we also want to offer other disciplines, such as juggling, trapez, silks, rope and circus pedagogics.
It is 50m from the tent to the beach, where most of the training will happen. And only 5 minutes from the appartments to the festival area. We will practice outside and only when the weather is too bad we will have to go into a gym in one of the nearby villages. The aeralists will use the trees for rigging or can use a freestanding trapez construction.
Usually it is very warm in this season, so we probably will put our main training time into the mornings and evenings. Daily warm food will be provided by our kitchen crew. You can also serve yourself at our buffet.
In the end of the week (june, 30) there is planned an open stage (pic on the left), means, everybody who feels like is welcome to perform his act or show what he learned in the previous week.The show will thake place with professional equipment in the modern amphitheatre on Korcula, so that we can expect a lot of audience.

Background of the meeting[]
In Croatia, Sweden, Finland or many other east european countries you can find only a small circus scene. Acrobatic meetings are nearly not existing. With this convention we hope to have a good influence on the circus scene and get a grip on the circus fans – so we would be happy, if the convention will take place next year in another country.
